It is suitable for 100 gsm paper with phenolic resin, delivers a standard resin add-on of 25-28%, and supports production speeds of up to 100, 80, or 60 m/min depending on the selected configuration.

One-step kraft paper impregnation line, suitable for:

1. Heavy-weight kraft paper in 100 gsm, 150 gsm, and 180 gsm grades

2. Low resin add-on at a standard 25-33%

3. Good permeability of phenolic-formaldehyde resin for efficient penetration into core kraft paper

This one-step impregnation line for HPL core kraft paper is typically a 4 ft line, suitable for paper widths of 1250 mm and 1350 mm, with an effective roller length of 1500 mm. The line generally includes the following key units:

  1. Tension-control kraft paper unwinder, disc type, with horizontal installation and a pneumatic auto-cut saw knife
  2. Metering roller impregnation unit with banana roller lifting device, automatic resin level sensor, and optional auto-filling system
  3. Heating chamber group, each 3.75 m long, with VVVF-controlled hot-air flow and automatic thermal-fluid circulation

4. Enhanced cooling unit

5. Web aligner to maintain accurate tracking through the line

6. Water-cooled tractor unit

7. High-speed paper cutter in sewing or pneumatic sheeting configuration

8. 1+1/2 bridge conveyor

9. Liftable paper stacker

EB Paper Impregnation Line

EB paper impregnation production line has many advantages over traditional paper impregnation production line. It is mainly a decorative material that uses electron beam (EB) curing technology to cure coatings on plastic films and printed paper. It does not require solvents and avoids pollution caused by solvent volatilization. And it speeds up production, reduces costs, and increases output. In addition, EB coating can protect the substrate and printed patterns, provide wear resistance, yellowing resistance, and customizable surface effects such as gloss or matte effects.
